Our final solution to the fashion waste issue on campus.
Software used: Illustrator
This is a year-long project for DFA (Design for America). The focus of our project was clothing sustainability, and we were looking to find a solution to the huge amount of fashion waste that’s being produced every year. After investigation into both the recycling industry and the fashion industry, we eventually settled in on the idea of raising the awareness of people and promoting the use of the Goodwill donation bins on campus. The bins are originally hard to be distinguished from trash bin/regular recycling bin. There is little instruction on how to use them, and people hardly pay attention to them. These are stickers designed to cover the three main sides of the bin.
