This is an UX design internship that I did for the summer 2018. Ethos is a multi-cryptocurrency wallet app that allows crypto users to securely store, buy and trade cryptocurrencies. The app was released to App Store in July this summer (2018) and has 100k+ users to date with a 4.7 rating. In Ethos Universal Wallet, a user has a portfolio where he/she can initialize multiple wallets and hold multiple cryptocurrencies in one wallet; it also supports managing remote holdings and basic transact functionalities among most of the coins.
During the summer, I got to refine the app structure and propose new features through analyzing current crypto market needs, user feedbacks as well as company missions. Moreover, I conducted user tests on prototypes with actual users of the app.
One of the major projects that I worked on is the integration of new crypto transact options into the existing app, which eventually consists of multiple significant changes to the app. In the MVP version of the app, only "send" and "receive" with cryptocurrency were supported by some coins, and now through our efforts, the upcoming transact options -- buy and swap are accommodated into the app.
